Think of Stonehenge taxus as a thin, faster-growing ‘Hicksii’. If you’ve never heard of that plant, rest assured, this one is much less cumbersome than the yew of yesteryear. This unique selection has been in our field trial for over five years and has never shown signs of winter burn or needed pruning or shearing. It’s perfect for making a narrow hedge or tucking into foundation plantings where a smaller habit works best.
